Tenderfoot Weekend

Our annual Tenderfoot Weekend will be held April 10-12 at Camp Yawgoog, in Rockville, RI. This trip is designed specifically to welcome new Scouts (and their parents) to the Troop, and to jump start their progress towards achieving Tenderfoot rank. Troop 99 does summer camp at Yawgoog, so this trip also serves as an introduction to Yawgoog.

For this first trip, we ask that a parent attend with each new scout. (Exceptions may be made if necessary.) New scouts and their parent will stay in the "Four Eagles Cabin"; older scouts will sleep in tents. Meals will be by Patrol, including new scouts. Parents will be part of the "Old Goat" patrol.
