Troop/Patrol Meetings:

Due to the current Mayflower Council Rejoining Scouting safety regulations, we had 2 virtual rather than in person meetings this month on Jan 13 and Jan 27.

During the Jan 13 Troop meeting, we went through a bunch of requirements for scout rank and we went over the new parts of the website.

During the most recent meeting on Jan 27, we were joined but some Webelo II ‘s from Pack 126! It was awesome to get to meet them and have them join in on our discussions! Vignesh demonstrated more of the new pages on the Troop 99 website and explained about the info Scouts are able to find on there. We told the younger kids how our troop operates and how the advancement process works.

Advancement:

Abhiram had his Board of Review on 1/11/21 for Star rank. Congrats Abhiram! Scouts continued to work on badges using the Google Classrooms and continue to make progress on earning ranks.

Upcoming events:

The Troop is planning our own MBU in March and is waiting on more info from Council about the Freeze-out they are organizing in February. The Troop is also planning a "Tenderfoot" hike and virtual camp out for April and maybe a rock climbing trip for May! MrG also talked about Summer Camp at Yawgoog!

Philmont Crew:

The Crew of Scouts and Leaders possibly heading to Philmont this summer started the planning portion of their Trek. They will be working hard for the next few months to make sure they are in shape if a spot opens up!
