A couple of weeks ago, we shared with you that Mayflower Council had suspended all face-to-face council activities through the end of April. A few days ago, Mayflower Council extended its mandate through the end of May. For us, this means that all in-person Troop meetings, trips, and other activities for the month of May are not taking place.
This situation will continue to be monitored. Our upcoming, tentative plans continue to include a camping trip at the end of June (June 26-28) and summer camp in August. We have held off on planning and developing the June trip due to the progressive nature of the Covid-19 pandemic, but both trips are "still on the calendar". We hold out hope that we can, one day soon, enjoy the outdoors together as a Troop.
